Premium metallic paper brings out the color and gives these prints an amazing look. The finish starts off glossy, but then is sprayed with a special matte coating. This prevents double-glare when behind glass and really brings out the details of the HDR photo. All premium prints are mounted on 2mm white styrene backing board to make them easy to install and will stay flat in your frame for years to come.

Metal prints are my favorite medium for HDR photos. They are super-glossy and look absolutely gorgeous in the right lighting. Photos are infused directly onto a sheet of aluminum, so that everything white in the photo actually shows through to the metal. This creates an emersive ‘3d-like’ effect, especially with an HDR photo, that you have to see to believe. They come with mounting blocks that ‘float’ the print 1/2 inch off the wall. I have had these in my office, at home, and have even shown them in an art gallery. I am constantly being asked what they are, and how they are made. They are real crowd-pleasers! And don’t let the higher price fool you: there is no need for a frame. Metal prints arrive ready to hang on your wall, so they can actually be less expensive than a paper print that has been professionally framed.
